Hi, I’m Satria - Senior Frontend Engineer based in Jakarta
Over the last six years, I've shipped products across marketplaces, live entertainment, edtech, and e-commerce. My day-to-day involves Next.js, React, and React Native, but whenever a project needs a solid API, I'm quick to jump into Node.js, Express, or Laravel.
Starting out as a full-stack dev taught me one big lesson: most frontend headaches are actually just data problems in disguise. That perspective shapes how I build products today.
How I got here
I started in 2020 as a fullstack developer at PT. Rekayasa Aplikasi Digital, building education and e-commerce platforms in Laravel and React. On a small team you own the whole path - schema, endpoint, screen - and that’s where I learned to design a system rather than just a page.
At Hitztar the problems got sharper. A platform tying together entertainers, fans, talent managers, and brands meant real-time interactions, live competitions, and money moving in several directions at once. I built the Next.js and React Native clients, the Laravel and Express APIs behind them, a custom RTMP livestreaming server, and the in-app purchase and payment gateway integrations. Nothing there forgives a hand-wave.
Now at Otospector I own every frontend the company ships: Otos.id, the company website, Otodealer, and the Otos.id app. The domain is used-car inspection and warranty, where trust is the product. Otos.id is the marketplace, built in Next.js. Otodealer lets dealer owners track their stock and our sales team register warranties out in the field. The Otos.id app carries browsing and warranty claims in React Native.
I came into the industry with a diploma in information systems, and finished my Bachelor’s at BINUS University in 2025 while working full time.
How I work
Read the API, don't guess it
Most frontend headaches are just data-shape issues in disguise. Looking directly at the endpoint always beats assuming what the payload is going to look like.
Stress-test the critical paths
Payments, in-app purchases, and livestreams never break during a perfect happy-path demo they fail in weird, unpredictable edge cases. When it comes to money and media, I always test twice.
Build for the real world, not ideal conditions
Making a site look good on a fast desktop Wi-Fi is the easy part. The real test is someone trying to complete a checkout on a spotty mobile connection in a crowded subway. That’s who I optimize for.
Clarity over cleverness
I write code for the people who have to maintain it after me. The best abstraction isn't the smartest one—it's simply the one the next engineer can figure out in five minutes.

Led the frontend development of Otos.id using Next.js and React, while building and maintaining its React Native apps, Otos.id and Otodealer. Initiated the use of ISR for sitemap generation to make the SEO infrastructure more scalable, and delivered key product flows across the marketplace, warranty claims, dealer stock, and warranty registration.
